very well done i really enjoy your poetry... keep it up... and i believe that you could go somewhere. the melody was ok hence the fact its not a 10 it needs to be catchy and addicting

Yeah it's a kinda drawn out longing sort of sound. I was frustrated when I recorded it, so I couldn't tap into what that guitar riff should feel like completely. I tried several other riffs of mine, but none of them matched what the poem was about. Which is a hazy recollection of a field of wheat out in the valley when it's humid as hell.
